In today’s society, the pursuit of beauty has become a significant concern for many of us. However, the concept of beauty extends far beyond mere external appearances. True beauty originates from within because beauty can never be just skin deep. To truly achieve a wholesome beauty, we must adopt a holistic approach that encompasses not only our external appearance but also our physical, mental and emotional well-being, believes Monica Bahl, CEO B&WSSC.

Monica Bahl emphasized the significance of adopting a balanced lifestyle to achieve true beauty, both externally & internally. In her recent address, she highlighted the pivotal role that yoga, meditation, mindful living and consuming a balanced diet plays to enhance beauty from inside out.

One of the key components of this holistic approach is the practice of yoga. Yoga is an ancient discipline that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques towards complete mindfulness. By incorporating yoga into our daily routines, we not only improve our flexibility and strength but also cultivate a sense of inner peace and harmony. This inner transformation reflects on our external appearance, radiating a natural and authentic beauty. This holistic discipline combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation, promoting overall well-being. Regular practice of yoga not only enhances flexibility, strength, and posture but also reduces stress, anxiety, and depression. It fosters a deeper connection between the mind, body, and spirit, allowing individuals to tap into their inner beauty and outer beauty.

Highlighting the significance of a Holistic approach she says, “When paired with a balanced diet, yoga becomes even more effective in nurturing true beauty”. Additionally, she emphasizes that a locally sourced & seasonal balanced diet focuses on providing the body with all the essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals & micro-nutrients as per the seasonal requirements of our body. She lay emphasizes on consuming a variety of whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, millets, lean proteins and healthy fats as such a diet promotes healthy skin, hair and nails, while also supporting optimal body functions. In a world that often emphasizes external appearances, shifting our focus to a holistic approach to beauty can have transformative effects.

Sharing further insights, she informed that by connecting our body, mind and spirit with a sense of purpose we tap into a wellspring of authentic beauty that radiates from within. When individuals prioritize their well-being, they radiate a natural beauty that transcends external appearances. This inner radiance is a reflection of a healthy body, a calm mind, and a balanced spirit. By focusing on the mind-body connection and nourishing the body from within, individuals can achieve truly sustainable and authentic beauty.
