The Lexicon Group of Institutes Participates in Creating “World Wide Record” In Yoga

Pune (Maharashtra), [India], June 27 2024: The Lexicon Group of Institutes, founded by the veteran visionary, Mr. S. D. Sharma, is a famous name in the field of education. Known for their unique initiatives, they recently made history by participating in a “World Wide Record” creating event on Yoga.

At 9:30 in the morning on June 21st, 6,577 participants, at different locations of The Lexicon Group of Institutes, came together to perform Vrikshasana or the Tree Pose. The event was meticulously planned and coordinated so that participants from all their campuses could perform the asana at the same time.

“Vrikshasana is a powerful Yoga pose that symbolizes balance, strength and harmony. By coming together as a group to perform this pose, we have not only created a record but also displayed the values of unity and wellness that we stand for”, said Mr. Nasir Shaikh, Group CEO of The Lexicon Group of Institutes, EduCrack, EasyRecruit+ and the ideator of the event.

Mrs. Anju Luthra, Deputy Director, The Lexicon Schools, added, “It was our way of finding balance and setting an example for the next generation. We sincerely hope that our children follow the path of Yoga and make this holistic practice a part of their daily routine.”

When asked about how such an activity, which involved 6,577 participants, could be organized seamlessly at different locations at the same time, Dr. Annapurnalilly Bipinraj, Principal of The Lexicon School, Hadapsar, and the organizer of the event, shared, “We were all thrilled to participate in such a record-creating event. It was definitely very difficult to achieve, but we made it possible. Geo-tagged images were to be captured for submission. To make sure that everything goes like clockwork, each participant practised the pose every day and actively contributed to the success of the event.”

The Lexicon Group of Institutes continues its mission to raise awareness that can bring positive changes across the society.
